CHALLENGE
When Samsung launched their new Smart Camera no one knew that it would capture amazing photos and upload instantly to Facebook.
IDEA
Australia in 24hrs Project. A live 24hr photo event which showcased the unique capability of Samsung's Smart Camera documenting the beautiful things that can happen in our beautiful country in just 24hrs. Sharing it all live to Facebook.
PHASES
1. Launch: We used national advertising to find 24 photographers who would document the day.
2. Recruitment: This drove people to our Facebook page where they could showcase their talent by uploading a photo they had taken. The winners were then given a Samsung Smart Camera and an inspiration pack.
3. Live event: May 31st, 2012 they were set loose from sunrise to sunset.
4. Winners. The final winners were then showcased in national advertising.

Reach of over 3.8 million people
700% increase of traffic on the day of the event
